I spent my morning in a freezing room with a bunch of other people silently hoping to get picked for jury duty. They called the list of names of the lucky people to get criminal court... I thought it would be too obvious to sit there with my fingers crossed, so I crossed my legs. It was like waiting to be picked for a dodge ball team, only turns out I was the fat kid that wasn't picked for the team. My name was finally called!! I waited with extreme anticipation of my courtroom assignment only to be told I was in the "morning reserves" and just had to hang out until noon. It was then that I realized I had no book or magazine to kill time. I was stuck. Bad news is, no one ever needed the reserves. Good news is, my purse is completely cleaned out and I have the map of Sundance Square memorized. If you ever need to know where anything is in downtown Ft. Worth, I am your woman!
However, the most important thing that happened today is I discovered pure gold. The Tori and Dean, Home Sweet Hollywood show. OMG. Why did no one tell me about this before!? I stumbled upon a marathon and wasted my entire afternoon. I can't believe I have to go back to the real world on Friday.

Oh NB...Tori and Dean is decadent really...yeah, KJ and I are hooked...she's such a little rich b*&ch but I can't stop watching!!! As for jury duty...NEVER wish to get picked...always wish to NOT get picked...ugh...never been picked, knock on wood!
Never have watched Tori and Dean...I just don't think I could handle looking at her face for that long. Is that rude to say?
Sarah- totally agree with the face comment. I have always thought she was rather alienish. I hated her on 90210. You really grow to like her though. She and Dean are hilarious together. They had a new episode tonight. I was so excited!
Seriously? You guys didn't know about that show? What do you want to know and I can catch you up! I tune in every week....I DVR'd it this week and need to watch the new episode (they bring baby Stella home!!!). I'm excited.
NAN...rumor has it that you didn't get picked for jury duty b/c you made some snarky comments about hanging out with "old" women.
NAN--I heard about the snarky comment as well keeping you out. Guess you have learned your lesson. Old women know about Tori and Dean. boo yeah.
Yep, I haven't gotten a letter for jury duty in YEARS. Wait...oh yeah, it's because I'm too old. I probably wouldn't make it through a trial. It all makes sense now.
ha ha. You aren't old! Sheesh. Whats a girl gotta do to get forgiveness around here? I already gave my formal apology!
